The lightweight Alpine Pro W shoe promises trail runners comfort, versatility and protection over medium and long distances, in addition to its particularly low weight. The Alpine Rolling midsole construction, a double-density compressed EVA midsole, increases running dynamics and ensures a smooth, even rollover from heel to toe. The drop is eight millimetres and guarantees high support on medium and long runs in demanding, varied terrain. Additional protection against stony ground: a carbon plate integrated between the midsole and outsole protects the feet from below. The Carbon Shield protects and contributes to the shoe's reactivity and durability. The Rubber Tension Concept, a diagonal reinforcement at the heel, provides an even more precise grip. The VIBRAM® Megagrip sole promises the best grip in alpine terrain as well as in wet and dry weather conditions.
