Akasha, Sanskrit term to describe the lightness of the ether, is the shoe of
the La Sportiva Running collection with improved cushioning: dedicated to
endurance competitions, perfect for long distances, ultra marathons, ultra
trails and several hours of training. The comfortable fit is due to different
technologies: Cushioning through the Cushion Platform™ plantar insert; wide
fit; soft, enveloping and breathable upper with slip-on construction to avoid
pressure points during running. The innovative, active reinforcements Dynamic
ProTechTion™ in the front offer protection and structure by following the
movements of the foot without restrictions.
The grippy FriXion XT sole with dual rubber compound has been equipped with the
exclusive Trail Rocker™ system, which follows the natural movement "outer heel
- inner toe" while running.
Akasha: the ultra-runner code expresses itself through protection, comfort and
cushioning.
